Not only will it help improve the performance, reliability and efficiency of the system, but we may be able to find small issues before they become major problems.

Our A/C Tune-Ups Include...

1. MONITORING AND TESTING THE FREON PRESSURES

(low Freon pressure can cause the system to run longer than needed which can overheat and cause damage to the system components)

2. WE TEST ALL MOTOR CAPACITORS

(capacitors that are weak can cause the motors to run inefficiently and possibly overheat)

3. TEST ALL THE SAFETY CONTROLS

(your safety controls shut down the system in the event of a problem)

4. CLEAN OR REPLACE CUSTOMER SUPPLIED AIR FILTERS

(Its very important to have clean filters to keep the system running properly)

5. MEASURE THE VOLTAGE AND AMP DRAW FOR ALL MOTORS AND OTHER COMPONENTS

(high voltage or amperage could be an indication of a component problem)

6. MEASURE AND CHECK THE AIR VOLUME AND TEMPERATURE SPLIT ACROSS UNIT)

(this tells us the air pressure and temperature entering and exiting the unit)

7. TIGHTEN ANY LOOSE ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS

(loose connections can create heat which can cause wires to burn up)

8. LUBRICATE ALL NON SEALED BERRING MOTORS

(motors that can be lubricated need to be done yearly)

9. CLEAN AND WASH THE CONDENSER COIL ASSEMBLY

(cleaning the outdoor coil helps the system to run cooler and more efficiently)

10. CLEAN OUT THE CONDENSATE DRAIN SYSTEM

(this helps to prevent water backups in the summertime)

11. INSPECT THE EVAPORATOR COIL IF ACCESSIBLE

(if the coil gets dirty the A/C unit runs harder and longer than it should)
